What is a Life Group?

Life Groups encourage and edify the life of a Christian believer. Life Groups is where people could experience & receive the life giving assurances of God. It serves as a channel of reaching out the lost and leading them to restore their relationship with God. It is a base of equipping the saints for the work of the ministry to fulfill the mandate that God has given us “Training Leaders for the World.” It keeps the vision to move forward by being connected. Remember the Principle of Valley of Dried Bones found in Ezekiel 37:1-10. God breathed or gave life to the dried bones when they were connected. It committed itself to be connected by submitting to the vision, to work as a team and to fulfill the task in a given season by God.

The Life Group Ministry's Vision comes from Genesis 9:1

"And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth."

The first Life Group started with Noah whereby God commanded them to be FRUITFUL and MULTIPLY and REPLENISH. The modern day Life Group, meaning us, is no different from Noah. We are called to accomplish the task accordingly.

Our Strategy: Win, Connect, Train, Send

• Win – using the Alpha Course
• Connect – connect the new converts to the Body of Christ through the Life Groups, Encounter / Post Encounter Retreats, Cleansing Stream seminar / Retreat
• Train - School of Leaders 1, 2 & 3
• Send – School of Ministry which include :
i. Basic Ministry training 401
ii. Bethel Series
iii. ISOM
iv. VIEN

Life Groups: Consist of a Life Group Leader, an assistant and 3-12 members. Life Groups will meet 3 times a month for Fellowship, Worship, Prayer, Ministry , Word and Outreach.

Life NETS – Networking, Evangelizing, Training, Sending.
Life Nets consists of a NET leader and 4 to 6 Life Groups. Life NETS will meet one time each month for worship, prayer, encouragement, strategizing and training. NETS Leaders will regularly disciple their Life Group Hosts.

Network Overseer: will be responsible for 4 to 12 Nets Leaders. Their duty is to oversee, encourage and disciple NETS Leaders. Network overseers will meet with their NETS Leaders once a month. Twice in a year each TLC Life NETWORK will meet together for a Praise and Prayer gathering. .

The Purpose:

To Multiply - The ability to increase its own (in numbers, in stature, and in status). To upgrade. To accomplish this, there is a process to fulfill, called the 4 P's:

• Preach the Gospel
  
• Pastor a Believer
  
• Prepare Disciples
  
• Plant Leaders

To Replenish - The process of continuity

The goal is to have interns in every Leadership Level. This method is where the vision and the purpose are being maintained in an event a leader is unable to pursue.
