Pastors
Senior Pastor Jerry Allen Zandstra (with Jacque) :
Pastor Jerry and Jacque came to Kuwait in September 1985. Their journey to Kuwait began when a fellow Navy Chapain had encouraged them to consider overseas ministry. After a time of prayer and searching they received a call to pastor a "small church" in Kuwait. During a visit to Kuwait, their call was confirmed by the Holy Spirit as the children of the church greeted them with a song "Welcome to the Family." They moved to Kuwait from San Diego, California where Pastor Jerry had served as a church pastor and director of a Christian Counseling Center. They have two children and three grandchildren in California.
Pastor David H. L. Peacock (with Becky):
Since December 2000, while working as an Engineer for Sante Fe in Kuwait, God had been calling me into a different career. His plan was not clear to me until Dr. John Chacha, a visiting preacher from Teamwork Ministries, prophesied that God was calling me to be a Pastor.
“Since then, as a family, our prayer has been, 'Lord we will move, when you show us the way.' In August 2001 God clearly showed us the way and I moved out of my career as an engineer and a month leater joined the pastoral team at TLC.” - Pastor David and Becky hail from Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.
Pastor Steve Sheane (with Naomi):
Steve and Naomi Sheane first visited Kuwait in 1995 on the ship Doulos. After meeting with Pastor Jerry Steve joined the church as a pastor in 1996. In 2001 they went home to Canada where Steve served as Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Community Church in Virgil, Ontario. Hearing the Lord calling them back, they returned to Kuwait in the summer of 2005. They have 3 girls; Petra Hillary and Amanda.
