The Lighthouse Church is a vital, dynamic and growing congregation that feels called by God to create a place of belonging in a lonely world. We are a work in progress—an ever-growing community, with ever-evolving ministries. We are a church that embraces the real world and the resurrected Christ, and believe that God has called us to share these values with those who come our way.

More than half of the population in Kuwait is expatriates who come to work. Many of them are contract workers who come here for a certain period from different parts of the world. They often live in poor living condition and working environments in places what we call labor camps. Many of them come from different religious cultural and lingual backgrounds. The labor camps are located in remote places in Kuwait away from residential areas because they work in oil fields and service sectors. The people in the labor camps are often found with deep physical and psychological needs which Jesus Christ alone can satisfy.

The Lighthouse Church under the Senior Pastor found the demand of reaching the poor and needy with the gospel of Jesus Christ in those places. This resulted a Church based outreach Ministry in the labor camps called “The Camp Ministries”. Under the Senior Pastor, the Pastor and Director of Church planting assist and directs the various aspects of these ministries. The believers are provided with transports to participate the worship services. The primary goal of this tireless focused ministries is to reach the lost in the labor camps, discipline them and  training them to be effective witnesses of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to send them forth for reaching others with the Gospel.

Due to the hard work of this team, there are many prayer groups, worship Centers and Congregations formed in various locations around Kuwait. Tens of thousands are reached with the Gospel and many are discipled through the lingual Christian Education Programs of the Church. These courses are conducted in affordable costs and if needed free of charge for the needy. We have raised Prayer group leaders, worship leaders, full time workers and even missionaries. There is a lot more to happen in the future from these ministries.

This is a growing and important ministry of the Church. There are many labor camps yet to be reached in Kuwait. In order to be more effective, we labor with and support those who are willing to reach the lost in Kuwait. We also are delighted in working partnership with the various language groups and congregations in Kuwait to reach the lost. The Church empowers those who are involved in ministries. We also partner with organizations like Operation Hope (A mission of Mercy), Gideons International (Bible Suppliers) and ministries of the Church like the Prayer Ministry.
