This past January, Pastor Jerry presented a powerful challenge to our TLC family. God had shown him that this would be a year of "extending our tent pegs" and expanding the effectiveness of our ministry here in Kuwait. Throughout this year, God has been magnificently unfolding the details leading up to the fulfillment of this God-sized vision, and we are now entering into a new phase of expansion.

For quite some time, Pastor Jerry has known that God longs for us to expand into the South. The population of this area is booming, making it a key region for kingdom expansion. Distance, work schedules, heavy traffic, and inadequate public transportation have made it difficult for people to connect with our ministry in the city. It is obvious that there needs to be a ministry headquarters within the actual region in order to facilitate effective outreach.

Towards the end of 2006 God provided us with a very functional villa in Abdullah Al Salem and TLC Vision Center was established.

We know that this is only the beginning of our ministry here in the South. Eventually we will need land and adequate facilities to handle the growth in this area. However, the TLC VISION CENTER will be a model for raising up leaders who will multiply through discipleship. Our four-fold mission is to WIN people to Jesus, CONNECT them to the local body, TRAIN them for service, and SEND them out to fulfill the Great Commission. This location will provide adequate facilities for different language outreach groups, Alpha Courses, Encounter Retreats, Mission Training, Intern Training, Intercessory Prayer, Bible training, etc. Oh, and as a special treat, there will be a "Discipleship Coffee Shoppe" opening soon, providing a safe haven for disciplers to meet and fellowship.
